Every Saturday, I write my menu for the whole week so I won’t have any problem thinking what I shall cook for the day, I’ll just check my list. Having a menu list will not only save time and effort but it will also help you to save money because you will only buy the ingredients that you need. Anyway, lechon kawali is included in my menu but when I’m about to cook this dish, I was shocked because the pork was sliced into smaller pieces so it means I can’t have my lechon kawali.
My husband is in charge of going to wet market every week for obvious reason. He can drive and he is strong enough to carry the bayong (shopping bag). I specify everything on my list even the cut of the meat and fish because I hate cutting and slicing ingredients. So my husband will just ask the vendor to slice it but this time I did not specify to slice the pork because I want lechon kawali. So instead of having lechon kawali, I just cooked Pork Binagoongan. (end of my long story…lol)
