United Nation was founded on October
24, 1945 represented by 51 nations and until now we are celebrating United
Nation. I have no idea when it was started (celebration) but I can still
remember my elementary days, we always make flag every October and there was a
time that we had presentation too so when I learned that my son will have
United Nation I was also excited.

It
will be an additional expense because of the costume and food but seeing my
child wearing his Sweden costume and
watching his dance presentation, it is priceless.

We attended his first United
Nation today, yes, it was holiday and we were in school but it was fine because
my husband was able to watch my son’s presentation. No need to file vacation
leave. Thank God for giving us good weather. The show must go on despite the
rainshowers.

ReplyDeletePriceless is right! When my son was young I made him a Thai costume or was it Malaysian? I forget! It was the only material I had available and I did not really know how to sew so the pants were a bit tight, but he looked sooo cute nonetheless! Patsy from
