Swimming Lessons

If there’s one thing that I really want to do when I was a kid is to enroll myself in summer class because I want to have productive summer and I don’t want to stay in the house waiting for the next school year. I want to enroll in swimming class, art class, cooking class, baking class and other activities that will enhance my skills but sad to say that we don’t have money in this kind of activities. The only thing that I look forward every year is the DVBS (Daily Vacation Bible School) which only lasts for a week.

Now that I’m a parent, I make sure that my son will have a productive summer and I want him to discover and develop his skills, talents and gifts. That’s why I always enroll him in summer class since he was 2 years old and now he is taking swimming lessons.

It is not a secret here that my husband and son love to swim; it is their bonding activity since Ethan was 4 months old. We’re lucky that he is not afraid of water so we just continue to expose him in the water. But of course, we wanted him to learn how to swim without floaters.

Sharing to you the photos of his swimming lessons for two days.

I don’t know how to post video here in the blog so for the very first time I uploaded video in You Tube so you can see it. I even received an email stating “Congratulations on your first YouTube upload!”  hehehe! Video on his second day of swimming of lesson. #proudmother

  1. Hi! I think its great to that you decided to enroll you baby. next thing you know, he wouldn't need floaters anymore. I wish I could enroll my son too but there's no one to drive him to his swimming lessons.

  5. Awww...swimming lessons! I've been looking for a swimming coach as I'd like to have my daughter attend private lessons na lang with her cousins. No one can drive for them kasi.

Sarap ng summer talaga for kids :)

  10. I told myself (and my readers) that I'll be enrolling my daughter to swimming lessons this summer but I failed. But I thought that we can still do it even if it's not summer, so long it's not raining. ;) The kids looked happy.

  11. Swimming is an important life skill. It also exercises every part of the body. It is actually a fun exercise that most kids love doing.
