Just this month, my husband went back to Bangkok for another business trip and stayed again at Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok. I already blogged about this hotel last year, so this time I’m sharing something that I know many of us moms get excited about when traveling, the breakfast buffet!

Since my husband was there for work, having a good breakfast before a long day of meetings was very important. He told me that their breakfast spread is better than most of the hotels he has tried in Bangkok, with more food choices and a great variety. Although he did mention that there was one hotel he stayed at before that had an even more impressive breakfast, MoMo Cafe still ranks high on his list.
So Many Choices!
According to him, there were plenty of options to choose from, such as:
Fresh breads and pastries
Seasonal fruits
Pancakes and waffles
A made-to-order egg station
Thai local favorites
International breakfast staples
Of course, when you’re in Thailand, you have to try the local dishes! He loved that he could enjoy Thai breakfast options one morning and go for a more Western-style breakfast the next. It’s perfect for guests staying several days because you won’t easily get bored with the selection.
Quality and Comfort
He also shared that the food was nicely presented and constantly replenished, which is always a good sign in a buffet. The dining area is comfortable and relaxing, a nice way to start the morning before heading out into busy Bangkok.
Final Thoughts
If you’re planning to stay at Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok, the breakfast buffet at MoMo Cafe is definitely something to look forward to. It may not be the absolute best breakfast he’s ever had in Bangkok, but it’s definitely one of the better ones, especially in terms of variety and overall satisfaction.
For busy business trips (and even family vacations!), a good breakfast really makes a difference.
