Mini Creative Journey Album

April is Bee Happy Crafts 13th anniversary, and for the past two years, I have always joined their anniversary event, but this year, April was a busy month for me. I had no time to craft because we were always out.

The deadline is near, and I really wanted to submit an entry for Bee Happy Crafts Anniversary Weeklies, so I decided to cancel all my errands and chores. I told myself, they could wait pero yung deadline hindi, hehehe!

I checked the Anniversary Weeklies themes and chose the “Mini Album of your Creative Journey.” I am not into scrapbooking, but I challenged myself to do this. Jared Leto said, “Try and fail, but never fail to try”.

I always say that my crafting journey started when my husband gifted me a cutting machine during the pandemic, but my creative journey began when I joined Bee Happy Craft Weeklies.

I used to be a silent member of the Bee Happy Crafters Circle and silently admired those submitted "weeklies craft projects". I hesitated to join because I knew I could only do a simple project.

It took me a lot of courage to submit my first entry in April 2023. I submitted my 3D Beach Shadow Box for Week 15: Summer, and the rest is history.

And because Bee Happy Crafts Weeklies kindled my creative journey, I decided to make an album to document my "weeklies entries". But I was surprised when I discovered that this Mini Album is my 106th craft project for Weeklies. Hindi pala kasya sa mini album, so I decided to print my craft projects featured on Bee Happy Social Media.

Making a scrapbook album is not my thing, so it took me a long time to assemble this one, but I am glad I finished it before the deadline. This album is full of memories and crafting adventures.

I finished this Mini Creative Journey Album after a few days, but as I flip the pages of my album, I realized that this is not just a few days of work but two years of my life. Indeed, this is my creative journey since I started joining Bee Happy Crafts Weeklies, from a hesitant crafter to a weekly crafter.

I feel happy and proud because I made different projects using various materials like paper, vinyl, iron-on, felt fabric, leather, magnet, shrinkable plastic, and many more.

This album reminds me of the time and effort I put into finishing my projects. I would never forget the trials and errors I encountered. The new learnings and skills I discovered. And of course, the opportunity to be part of the Bee Happy Guest Ambassadors.

For the design, I printed my own patterned paper using the Bee Happy Paper Set. I used Bee dies and stamps, and also cut the Male and Female Gnomes of Craft with Sarah. The Mini Album Template is available on Cricut Design Space.
