Lately, I’ve been decluttering more than just my crafting supplies. I finally started going through the digital files I’ve collected over the years, files I purchased and downloaded as far back as 2019. As I sorted through them, it felt like uncovering little pieces of creativity I once planned to use but never quite got around to. One of my intentions this year is to slow down, be more mindful, and actually create with what I already have.
For Bee Happy Weeklies – Week 2: Motivational Quote, I decided to work with the minimalist quotes from the Magical Garden Celestial Collection by Paper Jam Lab. I loved how simple yet meaningful the designs were, making them perfect for everyday inspiration.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Print the Quotes
I edited the quotes to fit the 3.5-inch card and printed the quote designs onto cardstock using my home printer. I chose cardstock to give the cards a sturdy, durable feel.
2. Cut the Quote Cards
I started with scissors, but I changed my mind and used my Tim Holtz trimmer. I cut each quote into a 3.5-inch card. I need more practice in using this tool.
3. Round the Corners
To soften the look of the cards, I used a corner puncher on each one. This small detail makes a big difference and gives the cards a finished, polished look.
4. Create the Box
For the box, I selected a template from Cricut Design Space and cut it using my Cricut Maker. I edited the file to fit the quote cards.
5. Assemble and Enjoy
After everything was cut and assembled, I placed the cards into the box. I love having them stored together so I can easily pull one out whenever I need a little motivation. You can also use this as a note card.
Favorite Quotes
As I worked on this project, a few quotes really stood out to me:
Cherish every moment
Make it happen
Your patience is your power
Spread your wings and fly
Think happy and be happy
These quote cards are now a gentle reminder to slow down, stay inspired, and enjoy the creative process. This project reinforced that sometimes the most meaningful crafts come from simply using what we already have.
