Food Trip at Contis

Mother-in-law was here for a quick visit, so my husband decided to bring her to Nuvali, but the weather did not cooperate because it was raining when we got there. We were not able to ride in a taxi boat, and we were not able to feed the koi. We had our lunch in Contis; it is really one of my favorite restaurants because of their lengua estofado and mango bravo cake.

We ordered apple potato salad, chicken ballotine, lengua estofado, parmesan fish fillet, Philly cheese steak, roast porkloin, blueberry cheesecake, mango bravo, and iced tea. We were all satisfied with the food, service, and price.

June 18, 2013 Father's Day at Contis

We went to Valenzuela and Victoria, Laguna last Saturday, so we were so dead tired the following day. My husband decided not to celebrate Father’s Day and wanted to stay home, but I told him we would just buy a cake.

He agreed, so we went to Nuvali at 5PM just to buy a cake. Anyare! We took an early dinner instead of buying a cake. We love Contis and we always order our favorite Lengua Estofado P295, Grilled Pork Chops P285, Bananalicious Pie P90, and Sanrival P90.

separate bowl for garlic rice

My husband and son shared the grilled pork chop; My son prefers pork to lengua. So after finishing my food, I have no more room for dessert. Pero hindi ako papayag, pinilit ko pa rin magdessert. Sayang! Naorder na!

April 25, 2015 Lunch at Contis Alabang

It is no secret here that our family loves Contis. We always buy cakes and pastries, and it is our go-to restaurant in Nuvali. The restaurant started in 1997 in Paranaque, but it was only in the year 2007 when I first dined in their restaurant in Serendra.

Serendra is so far from my place, so I was glad when Contis opened another branch in Nuvali. Since then, we have been frequent diners and buyers of Contis.

Last April 9, we tried their branch in Alabang Westgate. Every time we eat in Contis, my order is always Lengua Estofado P340. Minsan lang ko nagpalit ng order and Lengua Pastel pa pinalit ko. Hehehe! Sometimes I buy Frozen Lengua Estofado too.

But I have tried other dishes because of my husband’s order. Nakikitikim lang ako. We know that Contis have big servings, so we always order two meals only + extra rice for my son.
My husband tried the Mom’s Garlic Longganisa P195. The taste was just ok for me; it was a bit dry.

One thing I noticed in their branch is, they offer toys for toddlers so they will not get bored while waiting for the order. The service is good too, when we got out of the car, nilapitan na kami ng guard para payungan on the way to the restaurant.

As always, we’re satisfied with our meal, and the only thing that changed is the price. Way back in 2007, la pa P200 ang Lengua Estofado. Hehehe!
