Last month, I asked my mom to send me some documents that I need. She sent it to me last January 17 and I asked for the tracking number. She advised me that I might receive it after a week. So I searched online on how can I track the package. I checked the tracking site of Norway which is POSTEN, I just entered the tracking number and I saw the following details.

Then I searched for PHLPost tracking site so I can track my package here in the Philippines. I just entered the tracking number and I saw a note that the package was sent to delivery office last January 26.
Since January 27, I was waiting for my parcel, as I mentioned it was my first time to receive a package overseas so I was hoping that it will be delivered to our house since it is just a letter. But I did not receive anything, I have NO NOTICE CARD from the post office so I printed the tracking information from the PhilPost site and went to our post office last January 31. I was praying that my parcel was already there.
The staff checked her notebook and she said “Wala pa, san ka ba nakatira?" I said my address and she double-checked again her notebook and finally, she saw it. My parcel was there since January 27. Then, she started checking the packages and asked, “Ano ba yung package na yun?” I said, documents po, nasa envelope lang. I waited for a few minutes then she found the envelope.
I showed her my valid ID to verify. She said I need to pay P112. I was surprised when she asked for payment but I did not ask any questions. I gave the payment and she gave me an official receipt. On my way home, I’m still thinking about the P112 payment. Pati ba sulat may tax na rin? How much more if I will shop online, magkano kaya tax nun. Anyway, I’m happy that I received the documents.
If you are waiting for a package, just track your package on PHLPost site, when you see the ”Enroute to Delivery Office” status, print it and visit your local post office after 2 or 3 days. Bring a valid ID and money just in case you need to pay.
HOW TO CLAIM PARCEL IN PHLPOST
1. Search for the tracking site of the origin country. In my case, Norway.
2. Track your package and when you see this status "Shipment arrived in Manila"
3. Go to the PHLPost tracking site and track your package. https://tracking.phlpost.gov.ph/
4. If you see this status "Enroute to Delivery Office".
You can
- wait for the notification card from PHLPost or
- print the tracking result and go to your local PHLPost office after 2 or 3 days.
5. Bring a Valid ID and pay for the Handling Fee or Customs Tax

My mom sent the same documents for my brother's Schengen visa application and the parcel delivered straight to their house and no PHP112 payment. (Valenzuela). Waah! Bakit kaya dito sa post office namin, lagi ako pinagbabayad ng PHP112 at ako pa nagpick-up lagi ng parcel.

Update: February 2022
I asked my mom to send me the documents for my Schengen visa application and I was worried that it will be delayed because of the COVID19 pandemic but I was glad that I received the package immediately. My mom sent regular mail only and my aunt sent express mail pero sabay lang kami ng pinsan ko na nakatanggap ng mail so sayang yung bayad sa express kasi hindi naman naging express delivery.
January 25 - The shipment has been handed in to Bring
January 26 - The shipment has been sent from the origin country
January 31 - The shipment has arrived in the destination country
February 3 - Enroute to the delivery office
February 4 - Claimed the parcel.
When I saw the Enroute to the Delivery Office status, I did not wait for any notification card from PHLPost. The following day, I told my husband to check my parcel at our local post office and fortunately, it was already available and he paid PHP112 again. This was fast compared to my experience in year 2019.
My mom sent the documents to my brother too and the mailman tried to deliver the package to their house (thrice) but the guard refused daw kasi masyado daw malaki yung envelope for the mailbox so Valenzuela Post Office sent a notification card instead. My brother picked up the parcel at Valenzuela Post Office and did not pay any fee, unlike sa amin sa province lagi ako sinisingil ng PHP112 (postal handling fee). The registered mail arrived in Valenzuela, six days after my mom sent it.
May note doon sa card "An unclaimed Registered Mail or Parcel will be returned to the sender or disposed of in accordance with postal regulations after 30 days counting from the date of issue of this notice. A parcel may be retained beyond 30 days upon request provided the storage fee is deposited before the 30-days period expire"

Today their tracking page said my package was on the truck for delivery so i waited the whole day at home.. at 6pm i was suprised to see my tracking status was changed to *failed to deliver* status and now at 9pm i cant even find my parcel on their tracking website. Aliexpress want me to comfirm now that i received my package..
I didnt receive anything today no notification card or whatever horrible service.
If you can choose Fedex please do because they are quick, professional and cheap (no hidden charges)

Hi so i've ordered from amazon around april 20-23? I received the tracking number and i've been constantly checking it for the past month. It said in the website it left Korea April 25 and immediately arrived in the Philippines April 26. However it's been stuck at "Held in Customs" since then. They should consider if the package is really small. I bought a cp holder sa ali express for less than $1. I was charged with 112 php handling fee. If nasa abroad ka, the post delivers it to your door without charges. Nakakadismaya, free n nga ang shipping, mas mahal pa handling fee sa item..

Hi Just want to share my experience with PHILPOST in Domestic road when i get my package from the US last 2015. I didnt know it's a gadget (Ipad Pro) a gift from my boyfriend. They checked the box and charged me with almost P7k taxes (can you imagine that?!!) i was shocked! i told them its a gift but they insisted that per ek ek tax rules i will pay that amount.

Ang napansin ko lng, for sure pinuputol nila ang linya nila pag may office at kung wala namang pasok ono office hours hinahayan lng na naka connect at hahayaang mag ring. This is so frustrating. Shame on the office.

Hi guys just wanted to ask what if you werent able to receive a notice card and your parcel does not have any tracking number. How can you claim it? My fiancee sent me a parcel more than a month ago it was sent via express delivery with insurance because she wanted to make sure that the parcel would arrive as fast as possible and marked as a gift as it was supposed to be. The shipping time from the country of origin took only 4 days to get here, but it got held at customs for almost a month and i havent received it yet til today. The sender got really disappointed because it was meant to be delivered ahead of time as it was a gift. Out of disappointment she sent another parcel via standard delivery without me knowing just to see according to her if it will be processed with less than the hassle as with what the first parcel was into now. She just told me about it yesterday and it been 3 weeks already and i havent received anything yet, not the parcel via standard delivery nor any notice card. Is there anyway to track it down? How big is the box? I'm receiving a gift kasi from NZ and it's a nintendo switch na more than 10k yung worth. Medyo malaki yung box nun. Hi, sana may makasagot. 2 days na yung items ko na ang nakalagay ay returned from customs. Should I go tho their main office? O mag-aantay pa ako ng ilang days. Usually kasi sa mga nababasa ko thee next day, en route na yung nakalagay sa kanila. Sa'kin until wala pang update.

hello there, I know it's already 2020 and not sure if this blog is still active or not but i'll still leave a message here asking what if stamped letters yung ipapadala sakin? sa phlpost pasay ko padin ba siya kukunin? I am from bacoor cavite and i've already experienced receiving parcels before thru phlpot but not a stamped letter so i am just wondering if that will be the same process?
I have a friend in Malaysia and she sent me a stamped letter with small photocards inside and it has been months so i want to know kung door to door po ba ang mga letters na galing overseas since hindi naman siya tracked and i have no idea kung nandito na ba siya or nawala na :( thank you po sa sasagot

May nag send skin ng letter galing US he sent it through First Class international Letter/envelop and he said that theirs no tracking number in FirstClass international. So my question is can i get my parcel/envelop to the philpost without tracking number??
I have a parcel na napanalunan ko sa giveaway! Kaso pagdating sa pinas "Enroute to Delivery Office" yung nakalagay sa tracking site ng PHLPOST! I'm a little bit frustrated right now coz It's been 2 weeks nang hindi nagbabago yung status ng parcel ko! Hindi ko alam kung safe ko bang makukuha yung parcel ko! Kasi sabi ng company yung item na napanalunan ko ay nasa PINAS na raw! and PHLPOST still replying the same status sa tracking site nila. Nakakainis isipin na mas malala pa yung customer service ng GOBYERNO kaysa sa ibang delivery express ng pinas.
Hi ask ko lang sana, pano kapag kaya wala akong tracking number pero nag msg sila sakin and ready for delivery na daw? paano kaya pede parin kaya ako punta phil office?
Punta ka lang pwede mo na iclaim yun basta pakita mo yung msg nila. Ganyan din sa akin dati txt lang nareceive ko walang tracking number, dala kana din ng ID para sure.
Pano pala pag mamahaling items na pinadala, like jewelries, gadgets or pera....baka nman sa costum plang wala nang natira, baka puro mga papel nlang natira. Kadalasan kc mga package, binubuksan nila at binabawasan pagdadaan na sa costum. Palibhasa kasi sistemang bulok dito sa pinas.
Ask ko lang po if yung package na marereceive mo from overseas is may lamang pera panu po yun
Based on my experience. Few minutes lang nakukuha ko na yung parcel. Natatapat sa walng pila.
Kapag enroute to delivery office, pumupunta na agad ako sa post office namin kinabukasan or after few days.
yung package ko is 22 days nang "enroute to delivery" nakalagay, bakit ganto paano to?

Pano po kung sa pagtrack ko po sa philpost no results po lumabas. March 28 pa po dumating sa Manila ang post, April 6 po wala pa sa post office namin.

Hi, possible ba na makita kaya ng Phlpost kung walang tracking number. May mail or documents din kasi ako ineexpect from Norway na Posten.No din gamit kaso sabi ni sender wala daw tracking number binigay.
Ask niyo po si sender kung natabi pa niya resibo, nasa resibo kasi nakalagay ang tracking number ng parcel. Nakalagay NR: (tapos letters and numbers).
Now expecting a package from usps express, pano naman po kung mali ang name na ilagay nya, nabaliktad po kasi lagay nya sa business name at name ko e. May tracking # naman po. May id din ako. Namali lng talaga ng fillup

Galing lang ako sa philpost sa domestic rd kanina. Na hold sa customs package ko. Unfortunately, yung weight ng package ko exceeds the allowable weight according to their website. Supplements na pabili overseas. Anyway, I was willing to pay for the penalty rather than kumuha ng clearance from fda. So magbabayad na ako, 13k. Binulungan ako ng kausap ko sa customs, pwede nya bawasan ang babayaran ko kung hindi ko kailangan ang resibo. Kinilabutan ako. Eto na ba sinasabi nilang corruption sa customs? Tinuruan pa akong pumunta ng cr at iipit yung pera sa papel naiaabot ko sa kanya. At ang babayaran ko na lang ay yung 112. Hay grabe. Hindi ako pumayag. Pinagawan ko ng resibo at binayaran ko ng buo yung kelangan bayaran. Pwede maging iba iba ang reaskyon kung halos 7k ang matitipid. Pero ayoko ko lang mapunta diretso sa bulsa nila ang dapat na mapunta sa gobyerno.

1/10/2023 - May bayad parin na 112 kahit 4k worth lang naman :( Anyways, thank you for this post kundi aabot na 1 month sa QC post office yung package ko akala ko kasi idedeliver diretso sa bahay tapos wala email or text or any notification na nandun na pala. Infairness ang bilis naman ng process pagdating ko dun basta may tracking number ka tapos ID then bayad ibibigay agad sayo.
Hello, unfortunately I have worse experience with PHL, maybe someone can help me out of my misery....
There were already two packages with trackingnumber sent from Germany to Philippines. The status of both packages is "dispatch to country of destination". They left Germany, but it seems to be that they never arrived in Manila. Emails to PHL were unanswered. Phonecalls impossible. No help from anywhere. Have anyone advice about similar experience? Legit po ba na kapag for redelivery meron site na mapupunta ka sa hihingiin po yung credit card details mo kasi may charge daw ang redelivery. Natatakot po kasi ako mahlagay ng info baka scam.
waaah I’m confused why I have to pay 2267 pesos according to the parcel notice I received just now. It’s a package that my friend gave me from Japan, I think it’s just a camera. It doesn’t weigh much but why I have to pay 2267? tapos hindi pa naman nila e deliver sa bahay wth 🤦♀️
