4 Easy Father’s Day Craft Projects Made with Cricut

Father’s Day is just around the corner, and today I’m sharing the craft projects I created to celebrate this special occasion. From handmade cards to cake toppers, these Cricut projects are fun, easy to make, and perfect for showing Dad how much he means to you.
 
Tuxedo Father’s Day Card
 
The SVG file for this elegant tuxedo card was designed by Craft with Sarah. This masculine card design is versatile and can be used not only for Father’s Day but also for graduations and birthdays.
 
One of the things I love about this design is how easy it is to customize. Simply change the cardstock colors, textures, or patterns to create a completely different look.

 
Super Dad Card
 
For this project, I used a Teddy Bear Candy Holder Box design and transformed it into a Father’s Day card. This time, I chose the simplest approach: print, cut, and assemble, rather than creating a layered card.
 
I was able to make two cards from a single sheet of photo paper, making it a quick and budget-friendly project.
 
Handmade gifts don’t have to be complicated—the message behind them is what matters most.

Dad Cutaway Card
 
This design comes from Cricut Design Space and is very easy to make. I used my Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Pens, cardstock, and Ohuhu Markers to complete the project.
 
Coloring the design is optional, but I wanted an excuse to use my markers, so I added color to make the card stand out even more.



Father’s Day Cake Toppers
 
Whenever I have a hard time choosing just one design, I simply make them all!
 
For Father’s Day, I created four cake toppers using three different designs from Cricut Design Space. These toppers are a fun and simple way to add a handmade touch to any Father's Day celebration.



 
Whether you're making cards, decorations, or gifts, handmade creations are a wonderful way to show appreciation for the dads and father figures in our lives.

Cake Toppers for Different Occasions: Handmade Cricut Creations

Every celebration deserves a memorable centerpiece, and a custom cake topper is one of the easiest ways to make any cake stand out. Using my Cricut Maker 3 and premium cardstock, I created a collection of personalized cake toppers for various special occasions, including a 24th Wedding Anniversary, Lost Count Birthday, 25th Birthday, 15th Birthday, and Congratulations celebration.
 
These handmade designs add a unique touch to cakes and help make milestones even more memorable.
 
24th Wedding Anniversary Cake Topper

 
The SVG file for this cake topper is from The Bearded Housewife. I customized the design by adding "24th Wedding Anniversary" to make it perfect for the occasion. The font used is Billion Dreams, which adds an elegant and romantic touch to the finished topper.
 
Lost Count Birthday Cake Topper


This fun and lighthearted cake topper is perfect for anyone who has stopped counting birthdays. I used the Beautiful Caroline font to create a playful design that adds personality and humor to any birthday cake.
 
15th Birthday Cake Topper

 
A 15th birthday is a special milestone worth celebrating. For this cake topper, I used the Beautiful Caroline font to create the design that complements a birthday cake beautifully.
  
25th Birthday Cake Topper

 
The design for this cake topper comes from Cricut Design Space. It features a clean and cute style, making it a great addition to a 25th birthday celebration.

Congrats Cake Topper


Whether it's for a graduation, promotion, achievement, or another special accomplishment, a congratulations cake topper adds a festive touch to the celebration. I made this for my son’s Recognition (With High Honor). This design was also created using the Beautiful Caroline font.
 
Creating these cake toppers with my Cricut Maker 3 allowed me to personalize each design to suit a different occasion. With just cardstock, the right font, and a little creativity, it's possible to create unique cake decorations that make every celebration even more special.

Process

1. Prepare the SVG Files
I uploaded all the SVG files into Cricut Design Space and resized each design according to my preference and project needs.
2. Create the Owl Graduation Gift Bag
For the favor bag, I used only the gift bag base from the Santa Face Gift Bag SVG and replaced the Santa face elements with the owl design to create a fun graduation-themed bag.


3. Make the Cap and Gown Cake Topper
For the Cap and Gown Graduation Cake Topper, I used the contour tool to remove the money holder opening. Then, I attached the “2026” title to the bottom of the gown design to turn it into a festive cake topper.


4. Assemble the Gnome Easel Graduation Card
For the Gnome Easel Graduation Card, I manually cut the card base to 10 x 5 inches. I then attached the graduation gnome and layered “2026” paper craft elements to complete the design.

Graduation Craft Ideas: Tote Bags, Cards & Cake Toppers

I’m excited to share the graduation-themed paper craft projects I’ve been creating over the past few months. From tote bags and cake toppers to handmade cards, these projects were such a fun way to celebrate graduation season while experimenting with different crafting techniques and materials.
 
Watch Me Bloom Mini Tote Bag

 
Last year, I had the opportunity to be part of the Printable Cuttable Creatables Design Team, and this month I returned as a guest designer for their graduation-themed challenge. For my project, I created this adorable “Watch Me Bloom” Mini Tote Bag.
 
This was a simple yet enjoyable project made using the Cricut Design Space with my Cricut Maker 3 and Cricut EasyPress 3. I used iron-on vinyl along with Ohuhu fabric markers to add extra details to the tote bag. It was actually my first time trying fabric markers, and I really enjoyed the creative process.
 
The design I used was the “Watch Me Bloom” SVG file from Printable Cuttable Creatables.
 
Graduation Cake Toppers
 
I also made two graduation cake toppers for this season. The first was a printable cake topper, while the second featured a layered paper-craft design for added dimension and texture.


 
Both topper designs were created using SVG files from Cricut Design Space. I love how versatile these designs are for customizing graduation party decorations.
 
Congratulations Cards
 
One of my favorite parts of this crafting series was making handmade congratulations cards. In total, I created five different cards, each with its own unique style.






The first card featured a layered balloon design paired with a “Congrats” phrase. The second card was a draw-and-color project, while the remaining three were cutaway cards. For these cards, I used the Cricut machine to draw, cut, and color the designs, which made the process both fun and efficient.
 
All SVG files used for these cards were also from Cricut Design Space.
 
Owl Graduation Card

 
The final project I created was an Owl Graduation Card. The original SVG design was actually intended for a writing pad project, but I decided to repurpose the owl element into a graduation-themed card instead.
 
The SVG file for this project came from Dreaming Tree, and I really love how cute and creative the finished card turned out.
 
Final Thoughts
 
These graduation crafts were such a fun collection of projects to work on. I enjoyed experimenting with different techniques like layered paper crafting, draw-and-cut designs, and fabric markers. Graduation season is always a wonderful time to create personalized handmade gifts and decorations, and I’m happy to have added these projects to my crafting journey.

A Handmade Mother’s Day Gift Set with My Cricut Maker 3

For this year’s Mother’s Day, I joined the Cricut Philippines Mother’s Day Craft Challenge with one goal in mind: to create something as thoughtful and special as a mother’s love.

Instead of making just one item, I challenged myself to design a complete handmade gift set; something cohesive, meaningful, and filled with little details that show appreciation.
 
After a few days of crafting, cutting, and assembling, I finally brought my vision to life: a mom cake gift box, a “Happy Mother’s Day” cake topper, a heartfelt card, and a tea holder filled with tea bags, because Mom is simply tea-riffic.


The Inspiration
 
Mothers do so much, often quietly and without expecting anything in return. I wanted this project to reflect appreciation, patience, and gratitude; values that remind me of everything moms represent.
 
Each piece in this set was designed to feel personal and handmade, not just decorative. I wanted it to feel like a gift you’d keep, not just use once and forget.
 
What I Made
 
Mom Cake Gift Box
 
This is the centerpiece of the set, a beautifully crafted box designed to hold small treats. The design is by Dreaming Tree, and at first glance, I honestly felt a bit intimidated to try it. But I’m so glad I did.
To make it my own, I used an embossing folder and Distress Oxide to add texture and color, giving the box a more personalized and elegant finish.


Happy Mother’s Day Cake Topper
 
I actually made this cake topper back in March, and luckily, the colors matched perfectly with this project. Instead of recreating it, I decided to incorporate it into the set, saving time while still keeping everything cohesive.


Mother’s Day Card
 
No gift is complete without a heartfelt message. I created a matching card to tie everything together, using similar colors and patterns for a cohesive look.
 
I had previously shared this design, but since I made two versions of the paper craft, I repurposed one into a card for this set. 


Tea Holder (Tea-riffic Mom!)
 
Lastly, I made a tea holder filled with tea bags. It’s simple, functional, and adds a playful touch to the set.
 
The SVG file is designed by Katie Adams, but I customized it by using only the base structure and adding extra shapes so all sides of the holder feature patterned paper. This small detail helped elevate the overall look and made it feel more complete.





My Crafting Process
 
Using my Cricut Maker 3 made this entire project possible. It allowed me to cut intricate designs cleanly and consistently, which is especially important when working on multiple coordinated pieces.
 
This project took me a few days to finish. From cutting to assembling and adding final details, every step required patience and care. I used techniques like embossing and ink blending to add depth and texture, making each piece feel more premium and handmade.

Celebrating Creativity: My Entry for Arfs and Crafts’ 5th Birthday Challenge

Last month, just before heading off on our vacation, I joined the Arfs and Crafts 5th Birthday Giveaway Challenge, a celebration of creativity, community, and five amazing years of crafting inspiration.
 
I may not have taken home the grand prize, but I’m incredibly grateful to have received a PHP 500 shopping voucher as a consolation prize. More than that, the experience itself was such a fulfilling creative journey.
 
Here’s a look at everything I created for this special milestone.
 
5th Birthday Cake Topper


To kick things off, I made a custom cake topper to celebrate the occasion. I recreated the project from Cricut Design Space. I just tweaked the design and changed the color to my preference. Made using my Cricut Maker 3 and glitter cardstock, this piece was all about capturing that festive, milestone energy.
 
There’s something extra special about crafting for a celebration—it feels like you’re adding a little piece of joy to the moment.
 
Puppy + Cake Birthday Topper

 
Next came a playful, paw-some design: a puppy and cake birthday topper.
 
“Cake + pup = the pawfect combo!”
 
This project was pure fun. It brought together cute elements and cheerful vibes, perfect for any dog lover’s celebration. The SVG file is from Craft with Sarah.
 
Hexagon Box Card
 

I recreated a hexagon box card from Cricut Design Space, too. There are balloons and a layered Happy Birthday.
 
It’s one of those projects that reminds me why I love paper crafting, turning simple materials into something interactive and meaningful.
 
Handmade Birthday Chip Bag
 

I also designed a custom birthday chip bag. One of my favorite party additions!

They also add a personal touch that store-bought items just can’t match. This project really highlights how small details can elevate an entire celebration.
 
Milk Gift Box

 
Another highlight was my milk gift box, created using print-then-cut techniques on photo paper.
 
I designed a custom pattern featuring the Arfs and Crafts logo, then brought it to life with clean cuts and precise scoring.
 
It’s the perfect little container for candies or treats, simple, functional, and charming.
 
Birthday Cricut Cuties Cupcake Toppers


For my final project, I challenged myself to use all 11 Birthday Cricut Cuties on Cricut Design Space, and I’m so glad I did!
 
Turning each design into a cupcake topper took days of crafting, patience, and attention to detail. But seeing them all come together was incredibly rewarding.
 
These toppers are bright, fun, and full of personality, exactly what a birthday celebration needs.
 
Reflections
 
Every project I make tells a story of time, effort, and love for the craft. And even though I didn’t win the top prize, I walked away with something more valuable: inspiration, experience, and a deeper appreciation for what I can create.

DIY Disney Cruise Projects: Cabin Door Magnets, Autograph Book & Family Shirts

Our Disney Adventure Cruise may be over, but the memories definitely didn’t sail away with it. Before the trip, I went all in on DIY projects to make the experience a little more personal, and now that we’re back, I’m so glad I did.

From cabin door magnets to a custom autograph book (and even matching shirts!), these little creations made our cruise feel even more special.

Cabin Door Decor: From Paper Crafts to Door Magnets


A few months before our trip, I subscribed to Cricut to recreate several paper craft designs using Cricut Design Space. I had this vision of a fully decorated cabin door filled with layered paper projects.

Reality check: after finishing four paper crafts, I realized I simply didn’t have enough time to keep going.

So I pivoted. Instead of stressing myself out, I switched to a print-then-cut door magnet approach and honestly, it was the best decision. It allowed me to create more designs faster while still achieving a fun, cohesive look.

The designs are:
Bon Voyage
Welcome Aboard
Let’s Cruise
Cruising Along

It was simple, cute, and totally cruise-ready. Seeing our cabin door stand out in the hallway made it all worth it.

Cabin Door Magnets



Aside from the paper craft design, I also created a set of 8 cabin door magnets using my Cricut Maker 3.

I kept things simple:

Printed sticker designs
Magnet sheets
Clean, minimal style

They weren’t your typical Disney-themed magnets, and that’s exactly what I loved about them. They still made our door feel unique and personal.

Each piece was made with love, and together they added such a fun touch to our cabin.

Now that we’re home, these magnets are little souvenirs I get to keep. Every time I see them, I’m instantly reminded of the ocean breeze and all the magic we experienced onboard.

Anniversary Cruise Family Shirts (Infusible Ink Project)




One of my favorite projects was creating matching anniversary cruise shirts for the family. I used Cricut Infusible Ink transfer sheets to make the designs vibrant and long-lasting, with no peeling or cracking, even after washing.

This was my first time using Indusible Ink Transfer Sheets on fabric, and since I was using a cotton shirt, I added a white sublimation layer. I made a mistake on the size, and a part of my design lacks a sublimation white layer, so when I washed them, it faded away. And one piece of the design moved, so it was not perfectly pressed. But I am still satisfied with our matching shirts.

I love how this method gives a more professional, seamless finish compared to regular iron-on vinyl. It made our shirts feel extra special for celebrating such an important milestone together.

Wearing matching outfits on board was such a fun experience; it made photos even more memorable and added to that “we’re really on a special trip” feeling. 

Turning a Cruise PDF into an Autograph Book



Another highlight project was transforming my Disney Cruise arrival book into something more meaningful.

Instead of leaving it as a digital PDF, I printed everything out and used my We R Memory Keepers Cinch to bind it into a physical book. 

It became my very own autograph book, which meant I didn’t need to buy one on board.

And yes… I put it to good use! I was able to collect signatures from Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald. Unfortunately, Baymax couldn’t sign mine. Hehehe!

Meeting some of the other characters took a bit of patience and planning, but I’m so happy I got most of the main ones. This book is now such a special keepsake, filled with memories I’ll treasure for years.

Final Thoughts

Looking back, these DIY projects weren’t just about decorating or crafting; they were part of the experience itself.

They added excitement before the trip, personality during the cruise, and now they serve as tangible memories afterward.

If you’re planning your own Disney cruise, I highly recommend adding a personal DIY touch; even something simple can make a big difference.

Because at the end of the day, it’s those little details that make the whole journey even more magical.
