My List of Travel Itinerary

Planning an itinerary is not an easy task. It entails a lot of time and energy in reading and researching for information. When I was starting to travel, I didn’t have the time to make an itinerary because I was working and didn’t want to spend my rest days planning. I will just book a flight or hotel, look for a travel agency where we can book our tour, and that’s it.

Things changed when I became a stay-at-home mom. Reading was my pastime activity, and then I decided to create my own blog to document our trip. Now, I’m a believer in DIY trips because I’ve learned that most of the time, DIY trips are cheaper than booking through a travel agency. But of course, there are times that I also book a package or tour for convenience.


But as much as possible, I do make my own itinerary; it may be difficult, but I do enjoy reading and researching because, along the way, I’m learning more. Several years ago, making an itinerary was quite a challenge because there was limited information, but now, thanks to blogs, reviews, and forums, it makes our lives easier.

A travel itinerary is something personal because you have to plan and decide according to your preferences, lifestyle, and budget. I’m creating this post for reference, and I hope this may help you plan your future trips. Take time to read, this will give you an idea of what to do, where to stay, and where to eat.
