Love at First Taste

We went to Pangasinan last weekend to attend the “Babang-Luksa” of my grandfather-in-law. Sort of family reunion though we’re not complete. One thing that I always look forward every time there’s an event in Pangasinan is no other than my favorite lechon. It’s love at first taste, I don’t know how they marinade their lechon but I always enjoy this dish. I was busy eating lechon so I have no time to take some pictures so I just borrowed pictures from my cousin-in-law. =)

sorry pig!

Don't forget to bring your tupperware!

bawal ang mag diet

Lechon for lunch, lechon for dinner, lechon for lunch again and I still have lechon for dinner.

  10. The "sorry pig" made me laugh. When I was young, I have also witnessed the process of making lechon which is similar to your first few pics. :)

  11. I love lechon, but seeing live pigs being slaughtered just to satisfy my palate and my tummy makes me guilty..

  12. Uh oh! I will die early if I have lechon all day...in fact, I stay away from it on occasions that it is served. But I remember when I was a kid and not yet at risk, I'd be one of those taking a piece of the crunchy skin. Well, those were the days :-)
